Highly detailed wood carving of Saint Anthony the Abbot, dating from the 1960s/1970s. This characterful statue depicts the saint holding a book and rosary in one hand, while holding his traditional staff with a bell in the other. Beside him stands his iconic faithful pig - a symbol of his role as patron saint of farmers, slaughterers, and pets.
An authentic devotional piece with both art-historical and spiritual significance. The statue combines craftsmanship with a warm, natural wood finish.
