Beautiful and rare statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, known as the "Silver Mist" Madonna, manufactured by the renowned Fostoria Glass Company from the United States. This mid-20th century masterpiece is characterized by sleek, serene art-deco-like lines and a flowing gown that radiates peace and elegance.
Made of frosted glass with the unique satin-like finish characteristic of Fostoria's "Silver Mist" collection. Mary is depicted with folded arms in a subdued, contemplative pose. The original Fostoria sticker on the base adds to the authenticity of this piece.
Dimensions: 26 cm height, 6.8 cm base diameter. Minor signs of wear do not detract from its beauty and are typical for a piece with a rich history. An impressive addition for collectors of religious art, art-deco objects, and vintage glass.
