Beautiful antique French holy water font in Art Deco style, dating from 1920-1930. The font is made of flawless onyx marble and has a copper back. The glass basin for the holy water is intact. Affixed to the center of the marble is a silver-plated medal depicting the veiled Blessed Virgin Mary. The design is presumably attributed to the renowned artists E. Dropsy or J.B. Ruffong. This unique piece weighs 710 grams and measures 20 cm in height and 14.5 cm in width. A valuable addition for collectors of religious art or Art Deco objects.
